Mr. Rector is in private practice in Camp Hill, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Pennsylvania and Cumberland County Bar Associations, Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association, American Bar Association and the West Shore Area Chamber of Commerce. His practice areas include comprehensive representation of creditors and retail debt collection. During his 15 years as an attorney, he has tried in excess of one hundred cases to verdict and has litigated thousands of other cases. In 1993, his client was awarded one of the largest arbitration verdicts in Central Pennsylvania History. He has handled numerous high profile divorce, catastrophic injury and criminal cases and is admitted to practice before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, the US District Court of the Middle District of Pennsylvania, the Third Circuit Court of Appeals, and the District of Columbia Court of Appeals. He received his B.A. in 1980, cum laude, with Departmental Honors from Dickinson College and his J.D. in 1983 from the New England School of Law. Mr. Rector is a frequent guest speaker to attorneys and the general public on various legal topics. He has appeared as a legal commentator on various broadcasts of local network affiliates.
